These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Genus Car Care. Genus Car Care provides professional automotive cleaning, detailing, and maintenance services. Our services include but are not limited to exterior car washing, interior detailing, paint protection, ceramic coating, and related automotive care services. We strive to deliver high-quality services using professional-grade equipment and premium products.

Our services are provided by trained professionals who follow industry best practices and safety protocols. We use eco-friendly products and methods whenever possible to minimize environmental impact while maintaining the highest standards of service quality.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, or violation of these Terms.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

All service bookings must be made through our official channels, including our website, phone, or in-person at our facility. We require advance booking for most services to ensure availability and proper scheduling. Same-day services may be available subject to capacity and staff availability.

Payment is due at the time of service completion unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods. Prices are subject to change without notice, but existing bookings will be honored at the originally quoted price.

We reserve the right to require a deposit for certain services or for new customers. Deposits are non-refundable unless the service is cancelled by us due to circumstances beyond your control. Any applicable taxes and fees will be clearly disclosed before service completion.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is in a condition suitable for our services. This includes removing personal belongings, valuables, and any items that may be damaged by water or cleaning products. We are not responsible for any items left in the vehicle during service.

Customers must provide accurate contact information and be available to receive communications about their service appointments. Failure to respond to appointment confirmations or reminders may result in service cancellation without refund.

Customers are responsible for disclosing any known issues with their vehicle that may affect our ability to provide services safely or effectively. This includes mechanical problems, electrical issues, or any modifications that may impact our standard service procedures.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to protect your vehicle and belongings, Genus Car Care's liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for any pre-existing damage to your vehicle, including but not limited to paint defects, scratches, dents, or mechanical issues that existed prior to our service.

We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or any other economic loss. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

This limitation of liability applies to the fullest extent permitted by law and shall survive the termination of these Terms. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for certain types of damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

6. Service Guarantees and Warranties

We stand behind the quality of our work and offer satisfaction guarantees on all our services. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion, and we will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns at no additional charge.

Our warranties are limited to the specific services provided and do not cover normal wear and tear, environmental factors, or damage caused by misuse or neglect after service completion. Warranty claims must be made within the specified time frame and may require inspection of the vehicle.

We reserve the right to determine the appropriate remedy for any warranty claim, which may include re-performing the service, providing a partial refund, or other reasonable compensation. Our warranty obligations are in addition to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Service cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service time may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service cost.

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Refund amounts may be subject to processing fees and any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to refuse refunds for services that have been completed to our satisfaction.

In cases where we must cancel or reschedule a service due to weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will provide reasonable notice and offer to reschedule at no additional cost or provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Genus Car Care or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

Our trademarks, service marks, and logos are proprietary to Genus Car Care and may not be used without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action to protect our rights and interests.

You retain ownership of any content you provide to us, such as reviews, feedback, or photographs, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content for marketing, promotional, and business purposes.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. You may also opt out of certain communications from us, though some communications may be necessary for the provision of our services.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

We encourage the resolution of disputes through good faith negotiations before pursuing legal action. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, we may agree to participate in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation or arbitration, as appropriate.

You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against Genus Car Care. Any legal action must be brought individually and not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
